Monitoring - We have worked with our partner to apply corrective actions, and our monitoring indicates that service levels are stabilising.

Devices should now see improved success when establishing data sessions and using SMS services.

We will continue to closely monitor the network over the next few hours to ensure service stability.

Devices attempting to establish data sessions may experience service degradation or failure. SMS services may also be intermittently impacted.

Change Summary:
Deploy latest software release (v8.139) to the Nomad production environment.

Expected Impact:
Thirty minutes of downtime can be required for Nomad Self-Service, Nomad API and Nomad Backend during the service window. Therefore, users might experience limited access.

We advise that you check your access to Nomad Platform and Nomad API after the planned works window.

The Platform release do not have impact on connectivity.

Update - O2 UK has advised us of a change to its 2G shutdown schedule. The withdrawal of 2G services will now begin on the 1st December 2025, with work completing over the following days.

This update was issued at short notice and replaces the timeline previously communicated on our status page.

After this is complete, 2G access on the O2 network will no longer be available. Only Vodafone and EE will continue to provide 2G service in the UK. Please ensure your roaming schemes include these networks to maintain fallback coverage.

Scheduled - O2 UK will permanently withdraw 2G service from 21 November 2025. The shutdown will begin at midnight (UTC) and progress across the UK over the following days. Once complete, 2G access on the O2 network will no longer be available.

After this change, only Vodafone and EE will continue to provide 2G service in the UK. Please ensure your roaming schemes include these networks to maintain fallback coverage. Where possible, it is recommended to begin transitioning devices to 4G services to ensure ongoing connectivity.

Velos customer will be upgrading their Signalling Transfer Point (STP) node to the latest software release.

Change Summary:
During the upgrade activities all relevant traffic will be routed via a redundant node ensuring site resilience.
