Monitoring - We are starting to see successful 2G and 3G registrations and services are now beginning to recover. We will continue to closely monitor performance over the next hour to ensure full stability.

Investigating - Affected ICCID prefix: 893720*

We are currently investigating an issue affecting 2G and 3G services, which may impact new device registrations and initial network attachment. SMS services on these technologies may also be intermittently impacted.

Existing 2G and 3G device connections remain stable and operational. 4G services are not affected.

We are actively working with our network partner to identify the root cause and restore normal service.

Deploy latest software release (v8.141) to the Nomad production environment.

Expected Impact:
Thirty minutes of downtime can be required for Nomad Self-Service, Nomad API and Nomad Backend during the service window. Therefore, users might experience limited access.

We advise that you check your access to Nomad Platform and Nomad API after the planned works window.

The Platform release do not have impact on connectivity.

Connectivity Issue with MTN - South Africa (ZAFMN)
Resolved - MTN traffic has stabilised and remote testing is showing successful connectivity. Traffic levels have returned to expected ranges and services are operating normally.

Update - MTN traffic has stabilised and we are seeing improvements, remote testing is now providing successful connectivity results. However, services on MTN remain below pre-incident levels. We will continue to monitor and further updates will be provided.

Investigating - We’re currently investigating an issue affecting connectivity on MTN in South Africa. Devices attempting to roam on MTN may be unable to register or could experience unstable data and SMS service.

At this stage, the issue appears isolated to MTN only. Other networks in South Africa are operating normally and should be used where available.

Our network partners are investigating, and we will provide a further update as soon as more information is available.
