Reason: Our network vendor will be performing core network software upgrades on their West routers. This is to bring the IP Core into compliance with best practices of recent IOS releases to improve security with patches and fixes.
Service Impacted: None – Reduced resilience only.
Change Summary: Core Network Validation and Pre-checks Core Network Upgrade/install IOS and reload
After the upgrade, the device is reloaded to the new version, without being committed. If the version fails or there are known issues, the device can be reloaded again, automatically reverting to the last version.
